One to One Sessions
The clinic offers one to one sessions with children. Within the sessions the Occupational Therapist will focus on the child's areas of needs and aim to achieve client specific goals. The parent is encouraged to sit in on the sessions. This will give them the opportunity to see what activities are completed and also ask questions if clarification is needed. The sessions can last for either 45 minutes or an hour depending on the needs and age of the child.

Occupational Therapy Assessment
Our clinic offers a full Occupational Therapy Assessment as well as a Handwriting Assessment. These assessments will help to identify areas of difficulty the child is experiencing and devise a plan on how to help the child to cope and develop further in these areas.

Groups
Groupwork is very important for children as it develops their social skills and self-confidence in crowds. Within our clinic we offer a number of different groups. Any upcoming groups will be advertised within the clinic, on our website and on our social media outlets.

These workshops educate parent's on different subjects e.g. What is Occupational Therapy?, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). The workshops also give parents an opportunity to network with each other and make connections. This can help parents feel less alone and build a support network for themselves.
